For the polisher considering speed, it exploits its unique alternating ply structure from super soft flannel to silky but tough combed cotton to cut and color on the same wheel. A single pass allows the polisher to cut out the rough surface left by an optional, but recommended 600-800 grit sanding, and leaves a finish that only requires a quick wipe down. On the other hand, a polisher who is beginning their journey with a grinder and buff will appreciate that due to the lower RPM speed used by this buffing wheel they do not need to worry about burning the aluminum surface. I use this wheel on everything. It easily cuts 400 grit sanding on wheels today I did stainless 1/4 fenders I cut 600 grit sanding twice as fast as compared to using a standard cutting airway buff. It also has been lasting pretty good I’ve done 12 wheels and 4 fenders with 1 pad and I’m barely getting to the first stitching so it’s not making a big mess and wearing out fast

I've been putting off polishing my new sleds tanks for 3yrs, wheels are easy, alum tanks not so much for me. This buff and the red finish rouge & the sanding process made it a breeze.
